Project Nudge: Personal Wellbeing Management App
Project Nudge was a collaborative research initiative to understand the impact of technology on our behavior and the potential of making a positive impact. What are your top well-being goals? Do you need more than motivation to quit smoking or to run that extra mile? How do you rate yourself in terms of environmentally-conscious? Would you like to do better? Does your social circle inspire you?
We collaborated with health care experts, consumers, designers, technologists to find answers and insights that nudge users towards making better choices. The team conducted several experiments and conversations around concept devices, apps, services that will leverage digital assets and reliance to help users make better decisions. We invited users to share their experiences, challenges, motivation and habits via online blogs, social media and in-person interviews.
Based on our research and insights gathered, 5 themes emerged resulting into a mobile app concept for personal wellbeing management. These themes centered around defining user goals, offering a set of activities to meet the goals, tracking of activities and behavioral change enabling gamification.
